Our Campus Library Media Center exists to inspire curiosity, to build a love for reading, and to empower our students to become confident researchers and responsible users of information. We work with our students to inspire, explore, create, and grow their interests after school. The Secondary Campus Library Media Center is an essential part of our middle and high school communities, equipping students with the skills and resources they need to succeed academically and become lifelong learners.

  • The mission of the Center Point ISD Secondary Campus Library Media Center is to inform, enrich, and empower every student by supporting and enhancing teaching, learning, and research. Our Campus Library Media Center incorporates curriculum, technology, and an educated staff to provide an environment where lifelong learning habits, and the love of reading, are encouraged; a place where students are enabled to access, evaluate, and utilize both digital and written information across a variety of materials and resources. Our Campus Library Media Center encourages collaboration, communication, creativity and exploration through credible resources and educational activities.

  • Students may visit the library media center for lessons and to check out books. Our visiting students can be accompanied by their classroom teacher or come by for independent visits at their teachers’ discretion.

In order to provide flexible access to support learning and exploration, the library media center is open to all students during the school day.
