Meet our New Band Director

Alan Perkins, B.M., M.M., M.F.A.

Alan holds degrees from Morehead State University (B.M.) and Ohio University (M.M., M.F.A.). He continued his studies as a graduate assistant in Band and Music Theory, working with noted educators and composers.

Throughout his career, he has presented workshops and clinics for the Ohio Music Education Association and the California League of Middle Schools State Conventions.

Mr. Perkins mission is simple: “Help every band program reach its highest potential.” Alan has dedicated his career to building outstanding band programs and developing musicians, leaders, and life-long learners. With experience in Ohio, California, and Texas, Alan Perkins brings a wealth of knowledge, energy, and practical strategies to help directors take their programs to the next level.

A published composer and arranger with extensive works for concert, jazz, and marching bands.
